The Bhoys in Green were big favourites in their first qualifying round tie against FK Sarajevo but found themselves 1-0 down early on in Bosnia.
However, goals from Mikey Johnston, Odsonne Édouard and Scott Sinclair saw them leave 3-1 winners.
In last week’s return leg at Park Head, Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor both scored lovely goals as Neil Lennon’s side went through 5-2 on aggregate.
The Scottish Champions got to the group stages in 2016 and 2017 but missed out last year making this European campaign massively vital.
Nomme Kalju President Kuno Tehva has today made the odd comparison of comparing Celtic to legendary rock band Metallica.
The Estonian club’s head believes the attraction of the Hoops to Estonia is just as big for the city as that of the metal band. Metallica, funnily enough, are playing a gig in Tartu (south of Tallinn) this evening. Therefore, it’s not a comparison completely out of the blue.
Meanwhile, Celtic will be gearing up to face the Estonians away from home in two weeks’ time. That will only come after Kalju have experienced Celtic Park in the first leg next week.
Celtic have announced that they will show the first leg of their Champions League clash with Nomme Kalju on their club TV channel.
The Hoops take on the Estonians at Celtic Park on Wednesday night and it won’t be shown on normal TV.
The Hoops will be looking to make lighter work of their Estonian opponents as they aim to progress further in Europe.
Ryan Christie and Callum McGregor were the star players last Wednesday but Lenny will be hoping for a more rounded team performance this time around.
But Celtic fans with a subscription to CelticTV will be able to watch the game live without any additional cost.
